  1. I don’t think I’ve ever actually been inside… it looks fantastic! Thanks for the pictures!

  2. What’s so slow about the ‘100 new slow machines.’? :) If the new 18 Fremont Hotel looks anything like Golden Gate casino expansion Derek is going to have a really nice place.

  3. Really don’t get the TV tower. All on different stations and would imagine no audio. Whos is going to watch them? Just for show?

  4. What are “slow” machines? And does the old section still have the woodwork and vintage-themed bathrooms? I’m hoping some of that look was retained, to go with the vintage-look rooms.

    1. Thanks for pointing that out! I typed it in a rush in my hotel room minutes after shooting the video. I wanted to post the article and hit the road asap!

  5. i checked it out a few times in the past 4 days. the TV’s block the lovely spiral chandelier.
the big display outside is made up of several monitors. many of those have very noticeable flaws. where is the quality control?
does it look better that what it replaced? sure.

  6. Well, they ruined another Vegas institution; all in the efforts to get the millennials through their doors. Sad, when will casinos learn that it is the 40-70 aged crowd who throw money into their coffers. Snowflakes don’t go into Casinos…. never have; never will.
