MindFreak Live to Replace BeLIEve

Criss Angel is closing beLIEve to replace it with his new creation “MindFreak Live!”

Per an article in Las Vegas Sun, here’s what Criss had to say:

“It’s been an amazing seven-plus years, and I am so excited to bring ‘Mindfreak Live’ to my home at the Luxor. Thank you to all the Loyal fans who made ‘Believe’ the bestselling magic show in Las Vegas.” -Criss Angel

Robin Leach added that “Criss’s fans are called The Loyals.”

MindFreak Live

The new show will have 360 degree seating and a cast of artists presently unnamed. There will also be lots of explosions, both laser and pyro.

…original illusions, state-of-the-art animated LED lighting and RGB laser explosions, LED virtual worlds, 3-D immersive effects, pyrotechnic landscapes, musicians and a DJ.

I like the term “Pyrotechnic Landscapes.” The new show is created and directed by Criss Angel.

I recently interviewed Criss on a FauxnCall* during the Vegas Bright Podcast (Subscribe: iTunes here. | Stitcher here).

Here’s the 4-minute interview:

Tickets start at $59 for performances beginning May 11 running Wednesdays through Sundays at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

*A FauxnCall is not an actual interview, well it is an interview, just not with the actual person. It’s parody.

  1. I was never a fan of Believe. There are so many much better shows to see than this one.

  2. Are they changing the name cause of the bad reviews? Folks dragged mindfreak through the mud.

    1. Usually, when there’s a “re-imagining” or a name change or in this case, both…it’s a sign that ticket sales have been pretty bad. It’s kind of like, when they re-imagined Jubilee.
