Out of Aria’s Haze Comes Jewel Nightclub

Aria is getting a brand new shiny nightclub. Jewel Nightclub, Hakkasan’s newest creation, will replace the former space occupied by Haze. The 24,000-foot nightclub can hold a capacity of 1,925 stoned and liquored up people spread across multiple levels. Now, of course, an obligatory artist’s rendering of Jewel:

With a scheduled opening for Spring of 2016, Hakkasan is promising that Jewel Nightclub will be a feast for the eyes as LED ribbons will adorn the nightclub and pulse with the music. The interior design is helmed by the Rockwell Group who also designed Haze…and Omnia (pattern noted). Rockwell Group was known for setting technology standards with Haze, so we’re sure they’ll turn things up a notch.

And now, of course, an obligatory quote from the press release:

The multi-level venue will encompass a main club with overlooking mezzanine level complete with five unique and secluded suites elevated above the dancefloor, each with its own exclusive entry. The DJ booth, a space conducive to a variety of musical performances, will lead JEWEL in pioneering a first of its kind production wall featuring dual-sided LED video screens and special effects lighting, also allowing for 360-degree movement. Filled with unexpected features and precious finishes throughout the space, JEWEL will provide a coveted experience for its guests – a treasured moment like no other. -Press Release

Ok, that’s enough out of you, press release! The one thing I’m thinking…how cool would it be to have Jewel perform at Jewel Nightclub? It would be a Jewelception! Though I’m not sure if her music would work for a nightclub.

On second thought, bad idea. Well wait a minute, she does have a remix album. A good idea on Hakkasan’s part, though, is how you can head over to the Jewel Nightclub website and sign up for updates. Now, in case you were wondering if I had a point with the “Now, of course, an obligatory…” it’s because the press release surprisingly has “Insert quote from MGM Exec” in red letters, and they did not add the quote.

The best part is, they did randomly toss in the quote, but in the wrong place and didn’t even credit the quote’s source. I’m the Chief Editor here at VB; I tend to notice these things.
