A Look at Medley Buffet at The Orleans
Out with the old [French Market Buffet], in with the new [Medley Buffet] at The Orleans
Vegas Bright resident photographer, Paperposter, recently stopped by The Orleans Hotel & Casino and captured a few photographs of their newest food offering, Medley Buffet. The new buffet replaces the former French Markey Buffet which closed in Spring of this year. French Market Buffet was a well-regarded locals favorite which had been in operation since 1996, giving Medley Buffet plenty to live up to. With six new cooking stations featuring Italian, Mongolian, Barbecue, American, Seafood, Mexican and Chinese selections, reviews so far have been average at best. Its difficult to read too much into online reviews considering the new buffet has only been in operation for about one month.
The Medley Buffet opened on September 13, both reviews and word-of-mouth have been positive. The restaurant revamp came in at an estimated $5 million dollars via parent company Boyd Gaming.
Per The Orleans website, “Travel the world without leaving your seat at Medley Buffet! Featuring temptations from around the world, our six cooking stations are making exactly what you’re hungry for. Our diverse selection will feature new meals, some old favorites, and so much more. Start stamping your tasting passport – make every meal an adventure at our new Medley Buffet at The Orleans!”
Medley Buffet is located at 4500 West Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89103. Hours and pricing information here.
