Lappert’s Ice Cream Is The Real Deal

I am sure you’ve heard the phrase “A moment on the lips, forever on the hips!” a million times before. Well, you can throw that phrase out the window when it comes to Lappert’s Ice Cream because second-guessing your decision is not even an option here. Hidden away on the mezzanine level, Lappert’s Ice Cream originally opened in 2006 and closed in February through March of this year for renovations. This past July I was finally able to find the time to try Lappert’s Ice Cream and boy was I was glad I did.

I ordered two scoops of the vanilla-bean since that is the only flavor of ice cream that exists in my book; all other flavors are dead to me. I was in a state of euphoria just seconds after shoveling a spoonful of vanilla-bean ice cream into my mouth. The texture of the ice cream was thick and rich, with perfect trace amounts of vanilla bean infused into the ice cream, no overwhelming extract. I give Lappert’s a perfect score of 10 on the very scientific LasVegasJunkie rating system.

Do yourself a favor and make the trek to the California Hotel and Casino to try this hidden gem if you haven’t already.
