Park on Fremont

Park on Fremont is Worth a Shot

LasVegasJunkie reviews Park on Fremont.

I first discovered Park on Fremont back in May of 2016; it was my first time back in Las Vegas after taking an eighteen-month break. I had created a list of new restaurant establishments I wanted to check out during my return trip and surprisingly Park on Fremont was not on that list; actually, the main reason I decided to give them a try was that they were the only place that had available bar seating at the time. Since May of last year, I have returned to Las Vegas twelve-times and have visited Park on Fremont six of those times. I find the food quality to be consistent each time which is a huge plus for me; my biggest pet peeve for a restaurant is when the same dish is not prepared and served consistently each time.

During my initial visit to Park on Fremont, I had the “Three Marinated Chicken or Steak Tacos”; I ordered two steak tacos and one chicken taco. I found the steak tacos to be a little dry and lacking flavor, the chicken was the exact opposite; it was very moist and flavorful. I’ve made it a point to only order the chicken tacos ever since. The tacos come served with fresh salsa, guacamole, and sour cream [Tacos $11 regular price. $6 during Happy Hour].

My wife has a sour tooth and very much enjoys the “Fried Pickles”; they come marinated in herbs and with a semolina crust. I’m not a big fan of pickles or anything pickled but these are surprisingly pretty good. I doubt I would order them on a solo trip but I definitely don’t mind snacking on a few when my wife orders them. The pickles come served with banana peppers and a chipotle ranch [Fried pickles $8 regular price. $6 during Happy Hour].

We stopped in for breakfast on Memorial Day before we hit the road to head back home. We both ordered the “Avocado Toast”; both of us enjoyed the meal and were completely satisfied. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The Avocado Toast consist of Hass avocados, poached farm eggs, and toasted sunflower seeds on really freaking good country sourdough toast [Avocado Toast $11 regular price. not offered during Happy Hour].

Park on Fremont is located at 506 Fremont Street in the Fremont East District. Happy Hour is available Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
