Facade Takes Shape At Wynn Plaza

Wynn Plaza facade takes shape on the strip…

Last month we took a look at the construction progress at Wynn Shopping Plaza. For a refresher, Wynn Plaza will be a retail complex featuring 75,518 square feet of luxury retail space. Most likely a snooty one, but that’s just speculation. Our tipster paperposter paid a return visit to see how it was coming along.

The facade is going up, and the yellow and white colors remind me of the inside color-scheme of the Bellagio Conservatory. Wynn recently completed renovations on Parasol Down, right after renovations on Parasol up. Also in the plans is Wynn Paradise Park which will take over part of the golf course, transforming it into a water park.

There still hasn’t been any releases regarding the clients of Wynn Plaza, for all we know it could be a Starbucks, and a Walgreen’s — what we’ve come to expect lately in the great shopping-scape of the strip. Upon completion, Wynn Plaza will have 75,518 square feet of “luxury retail space.” We’re guessing there won’t be a ROSS Dress For Less, sorry Blonde4ever.

  1. Thanks for the update on this, do you know when it is supposed to be ready? Would be great to have a starbucks nearby on my next trip.

  2. Hello. Could someone orient me? Is the “mountain” in front of Wynn gone?

  3. Do people actually shop at all of these high end stores? They always seem empty when I walk by them. Is it just a status symbol for the hotel? Or does one big sale per day/week keep them afloat? They must do something or they wouldn’t keep building them.

  4. Hoping for a 99 cent only store. If that’s not in the works maybe a dollar general
