Classic Cher

Review: Classic Cher at The Park Theater

Paperposter reviews: Classic Cher at The Park Theater

Paperposter here, reviewing Cher’s residency “Classic Cher” at The Park Theater. The show is a cross between Cher’s hits, Cirque du Soleil, and Broadway music with around 12 costume changes. Honestly, I lost count.

The Park Theater is a great venue to stage this type of show as it’s a hybrid of a concert/Broadway show with Cher’s life’s work in the middle. There were more drag queens there than at a Britney show, as Cher is the original diva.

The show starts with two songs and then a short five question and answer segment. After that, the real concert begins. Cher leaves and then she re-appears to launch the concert while arriving on an elephant–and it doesn’t let up from there.

Classic Cher

From her old hits like her duets with long-time partner Sonny to her recent hits like “Believe” and “Turn Back Time, it was a fun night for all. Cher takes Vegas, and Vegas takes Cher–they were made for each other.

Seating tip: if you’re physically challenged, elderly, kinda large-sized or just don’t want to get up and down all night… don’t take floor seating section 101-102 103, you will be miserable. People in the lower sections stand, and your view will be blocked for most off the show as the people in front of you will be standing. If u want to see, go with higher letter/numbers I suggest row G and up is probably safe so you can sit and see the whole show with no problem in sections 201-205.

Classic Cher

Classic Cher runs throughout February 2017 at T-Mobile Arena and returns throughout the month of May 2017.

  1. I have seen Cher 2 or 3 times, always a good show. I am just curious, did she spew any political puke? that is the nasty trend these days and I don’t want to pay to see any of that.

  2. Cher is 70….SEVENTY…years old.

Let that sink in for a second.

How many 70 year olds can do that. Pretty freakin impressive.
