Amorino Las Vegas Serves Up Gelato Love

Having some Gelato at Amorino Las Vegas

Waaaaaaaaay back in February of 2016, I wrote about what was, at the time, the future opening of Amorino Las Vegas at LINQ Promenade. Well, since then Amorino has opened and I stopped by last month to try out their famous, and beautiful, gelato. The gelato is made with fresh, organic ingredients. Amorino doesn’t only offer gelato; there’s also waffles served with toppings. Plus crepes, macarons, packaged chocolates as well as Italian coffees.

The LINQ Promenade is their flagship location, they closed their original location at Town Square just before opening their flagship. I say that because a google search shows Amorino Las Vegas as being closed via yelp, but that’s the old location. The LINQ promenade location is open (….the more you know). Amorino Las Vegas has 24 flavors to choose from, so it was a tough decision.

I went with two different flavors, the first is Amarena as described on their website:

“This flavour combines creamy gelato with the delicate taste of the amarena cherry. Spring and summery flavours jump to mind.”

The second flavor or, flavour I chose was Cioccolato Amorino, described as:

“The delectable combination of pure cocoa and the creaminess of whole milk!”

Both flavors were delectable. Normally you might expect scoops in a cup or on a cone, however, the folks at Amorino Las Vegas will instead give you art.

Protip: Wrap the cone with napkins and extend outward to prevent sleeve damage.

The gelato was exactly as I hoped it would be: delicious. I really liked their unique take on presentation, in fact, I almost didn’t want to eat it. Almost.

  1. After learning in Florence that the “rule of thumb” for real gelato comes down to this: Pistachio must be gray colored, if it’s green, coloring has been added.

  2. I cannot believe I have never tried gelato…EVER.. im a weirdo. I feel like I’m cheating on my Vanilla Haagen Daz
