Oh, MM, you sound so forlorn on this podcast. Maybe you just have that letdown you feel when you get home from Vegas and you know you won’t be back for awhile. Or maybe you just are bummed over losing a colleague. It can be exhausting to put so much of your heart and soul into something and find out that not everyone shares your passion for it.
Vegas has broken my heart many times. I can understand Sam’s disillusionment, for sure. But the ol’ bitch still calls my name, you know? I tried to plan a December trip to coincide with the NFR (I know you’re not a fan, ha) because I love Vegas during the rodeo. The airfare I can get with miles, and while I don’t have completely comped rooms, I could swing three nights for about $120. But the stash – I just don’t have the gambling funds, and Vegas when you are broke just isn’t my idea of a good time.
I’m sending an email with a paragraph about my vegas collection
It was more the colleague thing, and exhaustion on my part. But, I have another trip coming up with my wife soon :)
