Strip Bits: The Cosmopolitan Gets New Video Signage

Motion signage added to the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

One of our Twitter followers alerted us to the new video signage at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. The changes are in effect in two places. One being the entrance from the pedestrian bridge. The exterior signage at the top of the tower closest to the strip which once had the Cosmopolitan’s “C” has been replaced with LED video walls.

The most notable change is exterior signage at the top of the tower closest to the strip. This tower once which once had the Cosmopolitan’s C has been replaced with an LED video wall for it’s logo to come to life.

The exterior changes are all part of a minor renovation taking place throughout. Including a revamped “Level 1” of the Chandelier Bar which is expected to re-open later this month. Ona previous visit, Level 1 was completely sealed off from the sides and above.

Sealing off the top makes it damn near impossible to get a sneak peek behind the construction wall, so we’ll just assume the new look of Level 1 will be….well, something. Special thanks to Twitter user @greentealatteLV for giving us the heads-up on the new signage.

  1. Love it. The Cosmo’s already the best overall resort on the strip IMO, and instead of standing pat they keep improving by adding Clique, the new sportsbook, and now some exterior bling. Love this place.

    1. Yeah, amazing how they can add so much in such a tiny amount of space. They’re also working on the other side of the tower to add some more LED bling. They gotta find ways to outshine that large Aria pylon sign.

  2. The Cosmo is my favorite place too. The only thing I really do not like about the place is the new carpet they placed in the casino floor recently. Other than that, the property is perfect.

  3. They also finishing out the east tower upper floors with penthouses, was just staying there last month in a wraparound in the east tower had to specifically request a room in the front due to the construction elevator running up the side

  4. I dislike the LED signs…they are too big, too bright and there are too many of them. They have none of the beauty of neon! Bring back neon!
