Getting “Hammer’d” with Mike Hammer Comedy Magic

Blonde4ever Reviews Mike Hammer Comedy Magic at Four Queens

If you would like to spend an hour laughing, come Downtown to the Four Queens for the Mike Hammer Comedy Magic Show. Mike plays five nights a week at the Canyon Club inside this Fremont Street hotel-casino. I have seen his show before and was back for another visit on my last trip, which tells you how much I liked it.

Mike Hammer Comedy Magic is the kind of show I could never get tired of. Even if the magic tricks were the same, his improvised riffing off the audience wouldn’t be.

Mike comes out to meet and pose for pictures after the show.

There are no bad seats in this intimate theater. Be forewarned, there is no safe place where you can escape Mike’s teasing. He incorporates the audience into every show, so go in with the expectation that you may become part of his act. He has a very quick wit and the jokes come at you fast and furious. If you don’t enjoy “insult” humor, this may not be the show for you. But judging from the times I have attended, the audience finds him hilarious.

There were kids present, but Mike was saying that you are supposed to be thirteen or older to attend. I would consider this a family-friendly show; edgy enough to entertain the adults but still clean enough for young people.

When Mike isn’t entertaining people with his sharp-tongued humor and sleight of hand, he can frequently be found at a charity function. Back in December, he hosted the inaugural Mike Hammer Celebrity Go-Kart Race, an event to benefit Serving Hope LV. This organization provides food, clothing and hygiene for the needy.

In November, we told you about the Drop The Mic which Hammer emceed at SLS Las Vegas. That event benefited Noah’s Animal House, a sanctuary for pets of battered women.

Mike has a new project on the horizon.  He and Brian Shapiro will co-host The Vegas Take, a two-hour sports and entertainment show on CBS Sports Radio. The program will welcome both national celebrities and local guests.

Mike and Brian Shapiro will host “The Vegas Take”.

As busy as Mike is these days, his energy in Mike Hammer Comedy Magic show is infectious and off the charts. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that the only good shows are on the Strip. Bring your sense of humor and come to this fun, budget-friendly show.

Mike Hammer Comedy Magic performs Tuesday through Saturday at 7 pm. Tickets start at $23 and are available by clicking here. VIP admission includes priority line access, preferred seating and one cocktail for $35.
