Adam London is a ‘Laughternoon Delight’

Blonde4ever reviews Laughternoon with Adam London…

Sometimes taking a break from the casino is the best thing for you and your wallet. May I suggest taking in an afternoon show such as Adam London’s Laughternoon at The D Casino. It is not Cirque. There are no special effects or fancy props. It is just the charming and very funny Adam London who will keep you giggling for an hour. I am not a huge fan of magic, but Adam’s engaging personality is what makes this show. He is as much a comedian as a magician.

The highlight of the show, is always, the audience involvement and Adam has an excellent rapport with the crowd. Seeing your friends or family assist with a trick is always a fun time. This show has the added benefit of being family friendly, so if you have a young person along on your trip, this is sure to please. The theater is small and intimate, so you feel like you are part of the show even if you aren’t one of the “volunteers.” Adam comes out to greet the audience at the end of his show and to pose for pictures. Laughternoon is a great time for a reasonable price. Go. You will be pleasantly surprised. And for the rest of the summer, everyone who attends the show receives a complimentary scoop of ice cream!

Laughternoon

Adam and his wife Alana were recently involved in breaking a Guinness World Record. The staff at Brookman Elementary School devised a method to encourage the children to read more. Students earned one glow stick for every book read and then they were tested for their comprehension.

Laughternoon

Each glow stick represents a book that a student read and tested at 80% or higher. They ended up reading over 20,000 books. Adam London purchased all the glow sticks and at the end of the challenge, the students put all the glow sticks together end to end, creating a glorious field of color. Brilliant! This is why Reading Makes Us Bright!

  1. I’m glad you mentioned family-friendly. My octogenarian mom can’t deal with f-bombs and blue jokes. And free ice cream is always good.
