Sugarcane Coming to the Venetian
Miami’s Sugarcane is coming to The Venetian
Walking through the Venetian, another construction wall means another new thing in the works. Replacing the V Bar at the Venetian will be Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill.
From their website:
Three distinct culinary hubs—robata grill, hot kitchen and raw bar—unite resulting in what Food & Wine Editor-in-Chief Dana Cowin called “a greatest hits of delicious dishes.” Inspired by international influences and fueled by South American spirit, SUGARCANE raw bar grill offers a shared experience via its menu of large and small plates, artisanal cocktails, and an extensive rum selection.
This will be Sugarcane’s second location, the first being in Mami. A look at the menu shows sushi, robata grill, steaks, whole roasted chicken plus various small and large plates. The drinks menu lists Rum-infused beverages plus Miami style cocktails.
Chef Timon Balloo had this to say “Ultimately, I just want to cook kickass food for kickass people and have a good time doing it.”
