Wayne Newton’s New Show Opens April 21st
Wayne Newton returns to the Vegas stage this month…
Mr. Las Vegas….that’s what they call him, Wayne Newton starts his new show April 21st. Taking place at Bally’s Windows Showroom, Wayne’s new show will be a collage of songs, stories and Q&A from the audience. The show, “Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal” is Wayne’s return to a Vegas residency, since 2010 where he headlined at Tropicana.
Wayne will be singing with a four-piece band, and on the stage will be 13 instruments that Wayne can play, though he may not play them all in each show. You can expect to hear some hits like “Danke Schoen”, although there isn’t a fixed set list just yet. Wayne Newton just performed at the T-Mobile Arena opening on April 6th. Tickets to “Up Close and Personal” are on sale now at TicketMaster.

He is before my time but I loved him in Vegas Vegas Vacation and want 2 c the tour of his home.
perhaps an enjoyable show for someone from that era. I can remember when I first started going to Vegas, he was at the Stardust — the Wayne Newton Theater. the showroom was right by the table games and you could hear him as if you were sitting in the theater. now, I have nothing against Mr. Las Vegas, but he sounded horrible 20 years ago. my friends and family call me Mr. Las Vegas because they know how much I love Vegas. I wonder if Mr. Newton would mind if I take over the name when he is gone…. I can’t sing, but I am sure I love Vegas as much as he does.
Is he really that broke? If so, sad to hear it…
