Rouge Out: Losers Most Wanted is In

Losers Most Wanted sends Rouge to the curb.

Back in December, when the National Finals Rodeo was in full buckin’ swing, it spawned up some pop-up venues to make NFR’s visitors feel welcome. Normally after NFR, these pop-ups go away, riding into the sunset. Then comes Nashville’s Losers Most Wanted. The pop up which was originally contracted until the end of December has stood around, all up in Rogue’s craw, I reckon.

Earlier this year our tipster paperposter sent me some pics. When I called MGM they swore that Rouge was coming back…well, I guess that isn’t happening. Ironically, Rouge still has a site page at MGM Grand’s website, listing hours and everything, as if it’s open.

Losers Most Wanted

Losers Most Wanted Bar and Grill takes the space of the former Rouge. As a reminder, this is what Rouge once was.

“Discover a whole new shade of cool at Rouge. With sleek chrome accents and Ferrari Red furnishings, this bar and hotspot offers a place where you can quench more than your thirst.  Rouge is a whole new shade of cool. Settle into a cool leather sofa or pull up to the bar and enjoy a sultry atmosphere where lounge servers deliver unrivaled cocktails.”

This is what Losers Most Wanted Bar and Grill is:

The Las Vegas version of Losers is open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m daily and has built its own corner stage for future live events. While the MGM concept includes “and Grill” in their name, no hint of a Las Vegas food menu has yet been revealed. – per vegas.eater

As to what caused Rouge to go out of business? No idea, although some might say it was the dueling pianos, first reported here at Vegas Bright in September.

Turns out, the dueling pianos are now at Losers. Maybe over time, Losers can be the Gilley’s of the south strip, but Losers should probably get a mechanical bull to keep up.

  1. my guess it was to much like whiskey down so they went the dive bar direction, smart move as everything else is upscale
