Caesars ENT Just Raised Resort Fees at Five Strip Hotels
Caesars Entertainment raised resort fees yesterday, with no warning.
The resort fee increase applies to the following properties:
Ceasars has raised the fee from $29 and tax to $32 plus 12% tax.
Resort fees for Caesars’ other strip properties remain at $29 and 13.5% tax, for now.
Thanks to BigAzMarty for linking me to the LA Times article where this was discovered.

All I saw was the title show up in my email notifications and had to take a look. Didn’t read yet and don’t think I want to. I guess Casino Royale will be my hotel forever. No more Mirage or Trop
Not to start an entire discussion (again) on resort fees, but this is just a $3 price increase… and hotels change their prices daily for parts of the calendar.
MY frustration is that “Comp” rooms are still offered by CET as complimentary even though unless a gamble way above my head (ie Diamond status or above) I’m still on the hook for the $35 or so. That’s not comp and their brilliant PR geniuses should at least come up with a different word.
Good think my reservations for Paris were made before this, and I have “locked” into my $29 = tax “comp” room.
What a bunch of BS…….the better keep the base rates down so they continue to pull the wool over everyone’s head!
Wonder if they raised resort fees instead of implementing parking fees (yet)
Just realized the tax is more where the resort fee is less?
