Wynn Poker Room: Moving and Expanding

Wynn Resorts announced last week its plans to move and expand its poker room. This is welcome news to poker players who over the last five years have seen poker rooms close at The Tropicana, The Plaza, The Linq, Silverton and The Gold Coast.  The new poker room will be adjacent to the Encore side of the property.

With 86,000 square feet and 28 tables, each table will have USB ports for charging electronic devices.

Here’s what Ryan Beauregard, Wynn’s Director of Poker had to say:

“We are excited to introduce an enhanced poker room and look to create the ultimate poker gaming experience at the Wynn. The new room will incorporate carefully selected amenities specific to poker players that will set Wynn Las Vegas apart as a poker destination.”

There will be a sports book window in the new poker room also, with thirty-five 61″ screens showing sports games throughout the room.

Wynn’s new poker room has a targeted Grand Opening date of May 26th. There were no renderings available at the time this article was written.
