A Very Vegas Christmas: Honorable Mentions
Welcome to the 7th and final installment of this year’s A Very Vegas Christmas. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this series as much as I’ve had writing it. In this installment, we’ll look at honorable mentions. These are Christmasy things around the strip that weren’t featured in this series but do deserve some attention. Let’s get started!
Treasure Island has various decor items, but nothing over the top. You’ll see your standard 6-Christmas trees lit in solid colors. What did stand out was the revolving door with the winter scene in the middle. I shot this quick video:

On the night I was there, TI was packed with cowboys and cowgirls who were in town for the rodeo. I never saw Gilley’s so busy; the line outside the door was massive.
Heading north to The Mirage, they deck their halls as well. Ribbons and poinsettias adorned various parts of the casino’s pathways, but what stood out, to me, were these dolphins.
Are dolphins wearing Santa hats? Cute, very cute. One of the shops (I forget the name, but it was across from The Roasted Bean) was loaded with Christmas ornaments and decorations for sale.
Every Vegas trip, when I walk through the Mirage, I always get this shot:
Caesars Palace decorated some of their statues with red strands of ball ornaments. I like to refer to this style as “Balls on Boobs.”
And last but not least, this brings us to the LINQ Promenade. The promenade itself has some decorations throughout, like this:
There’s also the LINQ Promenade Tree, which was lit by Britney Spears while Sammasseur was in attendance.
Of course, I had to get the shot with the HighRoller…
That wraps up the honorable mentions portion of A Very Vegas Christmas. With all the places I’ve seen in Vegas decked out for the holidays this year. It should be no surprise to anyone that this year’s Most Christmas-est place is The Bellagio. From it’s decked out Conservatory, decked out shop, and decked out Jean Philippe. It’s the most Vegas Christmas on the strip, no one in Vegas does it like the Bellagio for the holidays! Even their famous Bellagio fountains dance to Christmas music this time of year. I hope you enjoyed this series, and if you missed any, you could see the entire series here.

Thanks, great series! Now I have a list of places to visit during my after-Christmas trip this weekend.
