LINQ Promenade Kicks Off the Holidays

The LINQ Promenade has kicked off the holiday spirit! On Saturday, November 21st, our very own Sammasseur was in the neighborhood for the LINQ Promenade Tree Lighting.

The tree was lit by a 15 minute late Britney Spears, who said one line, flipped the switch and then walked off the stage. You know what I’ll just quote Sam because as I’m writing this, it’s very late, and I still have to get the images ready, and I have to be up early for work tomorrow. <–Being honest

…Britney was such a farce on Saturday. Listening to that emcee make excuses for her lateness, witnessing all of the Tilted Kilt staff being forced out of their own workplace so that Britney could be brought in through the back of their restaurant, the fact that she mumbled ten words then literally dashed off the stage. Ugh….She was 15 minutes late, said ONE SENTENCE and left. Worthless twit.

Ah, tell us how you really feel, Sam! It is one of the joys of writing for a site that isn’t owned by a conglomerate :) Let freedom ring. Ok, back to the main focus…the LINQ Promenade’s 30-foot tree and one more cool feature…snow! The LINQ promenade has snow every 30 minutes starting in December, those in attendance at the tree lighting got themselves a sneak peek.

Of course, we saved the best for last. The tree fully lit and framed by the High Roller.
