Human Nature Rings In The Season…Motown Style

We’re still putting the finishing touches on some great suggestions for Thanksgiving in Vegas. But in the meantime, can we briefly jump to Christmas? While the notion of snowflakes and nativity scenes might make you scowl for a moment, one holiday offering is sure to make you smile. It’s Human Nature‘s upcoming Motown Christmas Show at Venetian.

The Aussie group that made a huge impact at the former Imperial Palace is the perfect act to put you in the holiday spirit. Their brand of Motown sound works perfectly on a Christmas album that they released in 2013. It was a huge hit and yielded six music videos. Unfortunately for American fans, the boys chose to promote the new CD in their homeland that year, leaving their showroom empty for the holidays.

This particular writer wasn’t able to catch them last Christmas, either, but that won’t be happening in 2015. Starting November 21st, the quartet will premiere “Christmas, Motown and More” at 7 pm, and the VegasBright team will be there for opening night.

Special performances are scheduled to run through December 22nd at Sands Showroom. Fans will be able to pick up a copy the new “Deluxe Edition” of their Christmas album, with four bonus tracks…and have it autographed after the show.

If four perfectly-blended harmonies by attractive Aussies isn’t enough to grab your show-ticket dollars, you should know that Broadway-bound singer Ruby Lewis will be their special guest performer. Ruby recently grabbed Vegas’ attention via her jaw-dropping vocals, acting and dancing talents in the electric For The Record: BAZ this summer at Mandalay Bay.

This spring, Lewis will be heading to Broadway as the female lead in PARAMOUR, a Cirque du Soleil-produced musical production at the Lyric Theater. It’s a major role, sure to thrust Ruby into superstar status. But through the end of this year, Vegas audiences will continue to enjoy her stunning performances for themselves.

Ruby seems just as excited as Human Nature to be sharing the stage for the holidays. As she recently told me,  “Thrilled to be back! Those guys are just the best. It should be a fantastic time!!”.

Side note: While putting the final touches on their holiday offering, Human Nature will share their spirit by giving a private performance for the fifteenth year of Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. They’ll be part of red carpet festivities tonight, November 12th at 5 pm.

Glittering Lights is the largest drive-through Christmas spectacular in Nevada. It features over three million lights, special themed events (see the calendar here) and a live nativity scene on select evenings. And…it’s open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The attraction officially opens to the public on Friday the 13th, which happens to be World Kindness Day. The first 200 visitors that night will receive a “kindness pass” to return…or pass it onto someone else as a random act of kindness. A portion of the proceeds from Glittering Lights benefits various childrens’ charities in the area. You can check out prices, schedule and more information by visiting their website.

Human Nature “Christmas, Motown and More featuring Ruby Lewis” begins November 21st and runs through December 22nd, 2015 at Venetian. Tickets start at $49 (plus fees and taxes) and can be ordered by clicking on this link. Save 25% by using promo code “WEB25”.

Update: We just received notice of a special Travelzoo.com offer for Human Nature Christmas Show. Tickets starting at $28.25 inclusive (no additional fees or taxes) for select performance dates. Get yours by clicking here.
