Las Vegas Arena Construction: Then and Now
The Las Vegas Arena (which is what they’re officially calling it now) is coming along, and it’s hard to believe that it’s been just over a year and a third. Since the “level ground” stage of the work site, Greg C has documented, via his camera, construction of the arena starting back in 2014 and up to this month. Set to open in Spring 2016 with MGM The Park, the Las Vegas Arena will be the host of various concerts plus basketball and hockey games.
And now a look at the Las Vegas Arena, from then ’til now:
When we last checked, the countdown clock on the official site said 176 days until opening, so that’s May 1st (subject to change) as an opening date. Here are some closer shots of the arena’s progress just last week:
I know what you might be thinking: that’s one sexy arena and I wish I had a hoagie. Wait, that’s just what I’m thinking.
There hasn’t only been a lot of work done on the outside, but, on the inside as well. For a look at the inside, see this story from our friends at VitalVegas.
