Lyft Legal at McCarran, Uber Announcement Expected
Uber and Lyft are once again on our radar. We’ve had several stories about them recently and now comes news that as of last week, LYFT is legal to operate at McCarran airport. Uber is also expected to make an announcement shortly as they were working out final logistics with airport officials last week. Uber’s announcement is expected this week, if not, today. It took time, but an ordinance was passed on October 20th allowing both ride-hailing companies to apply for operation at McCarran. This was an issue in the past, as drivers for both Uber and Lyft were on the receiving end of citations, even though it was legal to operate in other parts of Las Vegas.
Lyft’s pick-up locations will be in parking structures for both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
