Marquee Dayclub Is Getting Its Dome On

Marquee Dayclub is raising the roof, so to speak. Our tipster paperposter spotted some activity over at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. Marquee Dayclub is putting its pool dome in place for its pool parties to continue into the winter. BTW, this is not the same pool area at Cosmo that caught fire a few months back. The dome is pre-constructed and hoisted in place via crane. Enjoy the behind the scenes (side of the street) views.

The structure arrives in pieces…

Then each segment is assembled, one at a time, on the ground.

Each segment is hoisted via crane to the Marquee Dayclub pool area where they are joined to the other segments. The glass gets added in phase 2.

It’s kind of like an erector set, just on a colossal scale… an enormous erector, if you will.

Marquee Dayclub started their off-season pool dome in 2014 when they commissioned AG Light & Sound to create the structure. The dome provides a temperature controlled environment at about 85 degrees to partygoers regardless of outside weather and wind. Once the whole dome is completed it will look like this:
