Celebrity Sighting at Bellagio: Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec

A week ago today while on our long overdue honeymoon, my wife and I strolled through the Bellagio. We stopped to relax awhile on the comfy chairs across from Cafe Gelato; that’s when someone caught our eye. Actually, someone caught my wife’s eye. She began making faces at me, restrained excitement across her face, pointing to what I thought was Cafe Gelato. I honestly thought she was excited about gelato. Who wouldn’t be? It’s gelato! She became more animated yet had a focus on hush tones, that’s when the game of charades began. She hooked her finger a little and started creeping it over the table with a look of seriousness on her face. I had no idea what she was doing. She started mouthing words that I couldn’t read, probably because I was thinking about gelato. Then she spoke up just enough for me to barely hear the words “Shark Tank.” So I looked at Cafe Gelato again, thinking there was some sort of Shark Tank Gelato (whatever that would be). Then I looked a bit to the right…sure enough, Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and some associates were sitting just outside Cafe Gelato at one of the tables.

I did a little digging on this, and it turns out that Robert was in Las Vegas for a BigSpeak event on the topic “How to Succeed in Business and In Life.”

Just goes to show that when it comes to Vegas, you never know what surprises might await you.
