Lucky Dragon Las Vegas

Lucky Dragon Las Vegas is Now Open!

Lucky Dragon Las Vegas Surprises with Early Opening…

Over the weekend, Lucky Dragon Las Vegas  opened two weeks ahead of its announced opening. Rumors started circulating on Thursday when Lucky Dragon sent their email list an option to book rooms starting on the 24th. Thursday night I looked into the Lucky Dragon’s website to find rooms could be booked as early as the 19th, and I wasn’t the only one as more early opening rumors were sparked. And, they were true; Lucky Dragon opened for business Saturday, November 19th at 6:30 pm.

There are some things to know about Lucky Dragon…there are five restaurants, there is no craps, or poker, or keno. However there is blackjack, and per Vital Vegas, it PAYS 3:2! Also, there is video poker, pai gow, roulette, baccarat as well as slot machines.

Update on the 3:2 Blackjack…the rules are “meh” for a 3:2 shoe game. Here’s what twitter user @_Lucky45 had to say:

Greg C stopped by to get pictures and here’s what he had to say:

For a small property, they did quite well. And, at last we have a themed place, not another joint decked out in shades of corporate gray and white!

Lucky Dragon will still hold its Grand Opening ceremony on December 3rd, but it is open 24/7 officially as of last Saturday the 19th.

  1. Nice. Can’t wait to swing by when I am in town in 2 weeks to see what it’s all about.

    1. I know, right? Back in late 1990s/early 2000s, my exwife was so excited about the Luxor she bought a hiroglyphics book so she could translate a lot of their displays, wall decorations, artwork, etc.

  2. You could also mention that all the room prices end in that lucky 88 number, so $188 or $388 or $888!! a night

  3. Man those are bad rules for 21 – difficult to imagine leaving a strip resort to come here for that.
