BLVD Creamery: Ice Cream + Booze = Awesome

New Contributor Fisherman shakes his boozy at Blvd Creamery…
Back in January of this year, my wife and I took a long weekend trip and stayed at Monte Carlo. It was my first time in town since the renovations to the front of Monte Carlo had been completed. While it was sad to see the fountain gone, the addition of several food and drink options was pretty nice. While walking out to the Strip one day, I took notice of the new ice cream joint and thought that it looked pretty cool. However, being January, I didn’t really have a craving for ice cream and walked right on past.
Fast forward to my trip this past June when it was 105 degrees outside, and I passed BLVD Creamery while taking the “air conditioned short-cut” through Monte Carlo back to Aria, my mind screamed: ICE CREAM!
Then I walked in and saw the sign advertising their specialty milkshakes made with a shot of liquor and my mind was blown!
Up until this point, I had not realized BLVD Creamery specialized in alcohol infused shakes. I ordered the Irish I Was Famous, which is essentially milkshake with coffee ice cream and a shot of Jameson Irish whiskey. It was awesome!
Although I would never have a reason to order anything besides one of their alcohol infused milkshakes while in Vegas, there is a great selection of other ice cream treats to select from.
BLVD Creamery is definitely worth a quick stop the next time you are walking the Strip and want to a milkshake made for adults.
