Chandelier Bar Level 1: Now With More Shiny
Level 1 of Chandelier Bar reopened. Was it worth the $960,000 renovation cost?
Level 1 of The Cosmopolitan‘s Chandelier Bar had been closed for renovations since June. It was so closed off, they didn’t want anyone peeking, even from above.
But, now, just over two months later, Level 1 of Chandelier Bar (which was primarily favored by friends for its formerly clear “upskirt views” glass staircase) has reopened. Our tipster paperposter got the pics:
It looks like some new furniture and carpet was installed to freshen up level 1. The bar top remains the same as it was previously, and I am left a little befuddled as to what the $960,000 budget went to. *shrugs* The renovation is part of the ongoing upgrades and changes at the Cosmopolitan including their new sportsbook from earlier this year, the LED signage which we reported on here. Plus, Momofuku, Milk Bar, and Zuma coming in as well.
Here’s some of the PR speak on Zuma:
Opening late 2016, zuma features modern Japanese cuisine and award-winning world-class cocktails in an elegant and sophisticated environment. Inspired by the informal izakaya dining style, the international restaurant features a modern Japanese cuisine that is authentic but not traditional.
Also, there’s that cool Hidden Vegas gem at Cosmo’s Starbucks on LVB. Oh yeah, and…Eggslut.
