An Eiffel Tower Experience with a View Only in Vegas

VB reader Fisherman has an Eiffel Tower Experience…

While planning my last trip to Vegas back in June, I was looking for something simple for my wife and me to do but different than watching the fountains or volcano. That’s when I realized that although we walk past the Eiffel Tower at Paris constantly during every trip, neither of us had actually gone to the top of it. We previously had dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant several trips ago, but never went to the top to check out the view.

I decided I wanted to try The Eiffel Tower Experience at night to get a view of the Strip when all the lights are on. The escalator entrance is located on the casino floor of Paris next to Gordon Ramsey Steak. The escalator takes you up one floor to a gift shop where you can purchase or pick up tickets if you bought them online ahead of time. From there you walk across the walkway which looks down over the casino floor to the elevator. The elevator takes you up in groups of 8-12 to the observation deck up top.

Now, if you are afraid of heights, this is not for you. Especially if it happens to be a day with some wind like it was on the evening my wife and I went. The winds were blowing approximately 30 mph. In fact, we were told that previously in the day they closed the venue due to high winds in the 40-50 mph range. If you’ve ever been in Vegas and experienced a wind storm, you know just how unpleasant it can be. Imagine that 460 feet in the air without any buildings to block the wind.

The observation deck is completely safe with floor to ceiling metal bars, and the views are truly amazing! You are also right on the Strip, just a lot higher! If you are as lucky as I was, you can even get what I consider the best view of the Bellagio Fountains.
