Exclusive: Forthcoming M Life Rewards MasterCard Means Free Self-Parking for Cardholders

An M life Rewards MasterCard will be announced soon which guarantees free self-parking for cardholders.

Earlier today I received a tip from one of our readers (an M life member and frequent Vegas visitor), that M Life (now M life Rewards) is soon introducing their M Life Rewards MasterCard.

When I inquired the reader some more, here’s what I was told:

“It was in an email from my Aria host.  The email was a hello from Aria and contained some of the summer openings at Aria of restaurants and the nightclub and mentioned the MasterCard.  I called Mlife VIP and they said it was pretty new and soon would be available to sign up at Mlife desk or on the web.  They said that you could earn tier and point credits but didn’t have much detail other than that. It’s very new and the they haven’t sent out information on the program yet.”

Browsing and searching through the M Life site didn’t turn anything up, but then I took a look under the hood on the M Life sign in page (once there, right-click and view source if on Windows, for MAC…beats the shit out of me) and found this:

While using my google-fu I found the PDF which tells staff how to answer questions about the new M Life Rewards MasterCard–which the M Life rep who spoke to our reader probably should read soon.

Although we tried, the mlife.com/mastercard link is not yet working and gives a 404 message (at least for now). This recent event leads me to predict that eventually, and unfortunately, Caesars Entertainment will also charge for parking, but, make it free for Total Rewards VISA cardholders to level the playing field.

Special thanks to the reader/tipster who got my snoop & scoop started on this!

  1. This is cool, I personally like MGM properties better than Caesar’s if I had to pick between the 2. A rewards card like the TR Visa is logical, I think it will get a lot of traction. Great work breaking this!

  2. Clicked on this link mlife.com/MasterCard. and the page doesn’t exist yet. Wanted to see if Canadians were eligible as we are not with the TR Visa.

    1. Yeah, I said in the article that the link doesn’t work yet. It should after they roll it out.

  3. The kicker is the points-to-dollar conversion and also, the APR. No annual fee and earning points on supermarket/gas purchases are attractive, especially compared to other no-annual-fee cash back cards.

  4. I was wondering when M life would get a card. I have the TR version, which I signed up for just to get auto-platinum level and it came with a free 24 hour buffet coupon. Other than that, their card is pretty worthless. High APR and lower credit limit than my other cards. For rewards, I only use it when in Vegas to get multiple reward points on purchased made at Ceasar’s properties.

It will be nice to have another way to earn teir points for M life. I live in California and can go to San Diego Harrah’s once a month to earn a few reward/tier points on my TR. Have to go to Vegas for M life.

    Thanks for the scoop!!

  5. Actually intriguing because you earn tier points. Total Rewards Visa is only reward credits. For some people – reaching Gold would probably be fairly easy if this was the only card you used. Not that it offers a whole ton of benefits…but still a pretty darn good way to get a good tier with MLife and have points to use towards stays and meals etc.

  6. This is good news! I don’t need another c.c., but I will be getting this one, as it will allow me to park for free at the MGM properties.

  7. Who cares what the APR is? If you can’t pay it off in full every month, then you shouldn’t be using it. The Hyatt Credit Card from chase is still a better option because it gives you Platinum Hyatt Status which converts to Mlife Gold.
