Update: The Lucky Dragon Is Taking Shape
The Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, designed to be a 201 room, a nine-story boutique hotel (like the Cromwell, but geared towards the Asian market) is coming along at a rapid pace. This story was followed on VegasChatter, and now we are keeping up with the story here on VegasBright.
Owners of The Lucky Dragon, the Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Center or, LVEIRC for short, expects completion of the hotel and casino in 2016. Described as “Las Vegas’ first casino resort designed from the ground up to create an authentic Asian cultural and gaming experience”, the casino will feature a wide array of casino games popular in Asia. The property sits between the Golden Steer restaurant and the Allure Condominiums.
Photographer Greg C shared with us his photos of The Lucky Dragon’s progress from June to just a few days ago.
And now a look at the garage…
They’ve also got a whole slew of Asian cuisine restaurants on the roster, and I’m definitely looking forward to some good Dim Sum!
