New Lounge, Happy Hour at Caesars Palace
Tipster @paperposter clued us in that the new Vista Lounge at Caesars Palace is now open and hosting a Happy Hour.
Owned by the Hakkasan Group, this new visual treat offers “An ever-changing visual & cocktail experience” per their website.
The draw for Vista is its views from around the world just outside their well placed LED screens windows as you sip handcrafted, specialty cocktails. It’s almost as if the lounge transports from one eye-capturing location to the next, without the, you know…transporting. I don’t know why I would want to believe I’m drinking a cocktail anywhere other than Vegas, but this place has an appeal all it’s own.
From their website:
“Enjoy ever-changing panoramic views of the world’s most breathtaking skylines while sipping on uniquely crafted cocktails inside a lounge that visually reinvents itself every night.”
I guess “From our strong drinks to our ever changing views, you won’t know where the **** you are” didn’t fly well with Hakkasan’s PR.
Vista isn’t the first venue that changed its appearance while you sipped away. Encore’s Switch was a favorite restaurant until it lost its charm. Would this more subtle take be any different?
The menu consists of classic and signature cocktails such as the Honey Ryder.
What’s in a Honey Ryder, you ask? Oh, you didn’t? Well, nevertheless:
- Malibu Coconut Rum
- Kahlua
- Bailey’s
- Club Soda
Sounds pretty tasty to me! One thing is for sure when it comes to reinventing a room; Vegas has been at the forefront. Time will tell if Vista will transition into a new favorite for locals and tourists alike.
